Karnes City: Lonesome Dove Fest

Except for the Lonesome Dove Fest Parade which will happen Saturday, Sept. 15 at 10 a.m. in downtown Karnes City, all the Lonesome Dove Fest events will take place at the Karnes County Youth Show Barn Grounds on U.S. Highway 181 between Karnes City and Kenedy near Otto Kaiser Memorial Hospital. 

Admission is free into the Lonesome Dove Fest Events and open to the public Friday and all day Saturday, Sept. 15.

For the past 25 years, the club has hosted the event that welcomes dove hunting season to the south zone in South Texas, and welcomes visitors to Karnes County for food, fun, friendly competition and entertainment.
